Hats off to Joe Lauzon
Every now and then I see a fighter who truly loves to fight. He’s not in it for the money or anything like that, he just enjoys the art of hand to hand combat. To me that’s just who Joe Lauzon is, a guy that loves to fight and loves the art of fighting.
I met Joe Lauzon many years back when he was I think 19 years old. I’d heard the name and was told by many people in the New England area that he was the star of the future. You know what? They were right about him.
Joe Lauzon makes it to the big time, UFC kiddos!
For those that don’t follow the UFC or MMA in general, Joe is a top ranked lightweight in a very stacked division. He’s coming off a big win over Curt Warburton via submission (Kimura).
I think what makes Joe such a good fighter is his love of the game and his wiliness to always improve on his game, whether that’s grappling, striking or wrestling. I should also mention that Joe works hard as heck in the practice room and travels around to work with other great fighters, fighters such as BJ Penn among others.
Anyhow, On this nice Sunday I thought I’d post some video of Joe Lauzon for everyone to enjoy. I hope to get him to Ivey League MMA for a seminar one of these days.
